The Moment By Kenny G - This was every thing that i was hopeing for and more and the quality was perfect, it was handled in a very perfessional way.Thank you Joe

Kenny G: This CD is truly THE MOMENT - I have owned this CD for many years. I recieved this CD as an Easter present probably back in 1999 or 2000. I can t remember when. But what I do remember is LOVING this CD to death!! My mom bought it for herself and I fell in love with it and I had to have it. If youre looking for good around -the-house kind of music, this is the CD tgo buy. You will not be disappointed. Great job Kenny G on an awesome job well done.

Smooth - Born Kenneth Gorelick, Kenny G is probably the best known American saxophonist. He rose to fame in the 1980s, and has gone places no other jazz musician has gone - in 2003, Kenny G was named the 25th-highest selling artist in America by the RIAA! Some dislike what he has done in the name of jazz, but it is hard to argue with success. In fact, I love the smooth sound of Kenny G, and like this album immensely. Probably my favorite song on the album is his wonderful That Somebody Was You, in which Kenny teams up with the incomparable Tony Braxton. Overall, I think that this is a great album. If you like the smooth jazzy sound of Kenny G, you ll like this CD. I highly recommend it!

Relaxing, romantic mood music - This CD has twelve of Kenny G s great tunes. You re right, it s not hot jazz, what it is is relaxing, romantic mood music. This CD sounds great as background music when my man and I are sitting in front of the fire, and even better when we are in the bedroom! We love this CD, and highly recommend it to all lovers!(Review of The Moment by Kenny G)

let s all relax... - I am a musician and I do not like Kenny G. My mom likes Kenny G a little around the holidays and says it soothes her and that is fine. She is not a musician. I had a jazz history teacher once who knew Kenny G a little before his success. They both went to late night jam sessions to play saxophone. He said Kenny wasn t the best but he could hang reasonably well. I think it is obvious (and beside the point of whether his music is good or bad) that what Kenny has done is taken a moderate talent and turned it into gold by making easy listening music. What incenses so many working musicians is that many good players in cities across America are able to do what Kenny G does. They know that what he does is pretty easy and he is not only making millions, he is also misrepresenting what jazz is to the rest of the population. I think Kenny G s success reflects a lack of awareness. People just aren t exposed to deep music in our culture. His music is like a Hallmark card or fast food. It poses no challenge and leaves no wake. But some people prefer fast food. Some people tear up when they read a greeting card designed and printed in a factory somewhere. And to the struggling and talented jazz musicians who know the real, non-commercial, soulful and true beauty of humanity reflected in music, don t get hung up on this guy. He sells millions of records, so what? People are ignorant, so what? We re all guilty of ignorance in one way or another. And don t you wish the people who feel moved by Kenny G could come to know music that is TRULY substantive? Doesn t a chef wish that people would come to know the real, good food, instead of fast food? Doesn t a birthday card made by your kid mean so much more than one laminated card plucked from thousands in the birthday section in the Hallmark aisle of a grocery store? I bet Kenny is a nice man who is fully aware that he is more of a businessman than a musician. Sigh... At least his music soothes my mom.P.S. In response to Andy Reddings earlier review that said: Kenny G s songwriting capabilities over (Pat) Metheny s is astronomical. I know opinion is subjective but I think your statement is so false that it could actually be scientifically proven wrong...
