KWS is fantastic - After KWS put on a fantastic show at a fest, I had to buy his first 3 albums. Now I know why is rated one of the best guitarists. I rate him up there with Eric Clapton. This CD is a must buy.
Pretty Good - when I first heard of Kenny Wayne Shepherd didn t think I ll end up buying his CD s till I heard 10 Days Out Blues from the Backroads CD and DVD an Excellent album so been listening to his music since and Ledbetter Heights is another Great CD recommended .
Excellent mixture! - This is an excellent CD. I was suprised how intense that it is. I would really recommend this to serious music listeners
Wow! What a FIRST album....where does he go from here? - Kenny Wayne Shepherd, in his first CD, is amazing. There will be the inevitable comparisons to Stevie Ray Vaughan (and perhaps Jonny Lang), but the tone and style of his super guitar playing are different than SRV. (Note that I did not say better than....) There is a wide range of SRV style blues and playing along with acoustic, slide and such. I am glad that I bought this thoroughly enjoyable CD and can recommend it to all who like electric guitar blues, Delta blues and more!
