Kenny s gone country! - the title really says it all! this is a country album. NOT traditional Kenny Loggins music. it is still enjoyable but i really liked his Tales from the redwoods, better.
Disappointed - I ve been a KL fan for a long time and I found myself very excited about this album. However, once I listened to it, I was confused. Where was the originality? Where was the musical genius I d come to love? The only thing that came to mind when listening to this album is the awful amateur music I hear at county fairs. I was shocked! KL has, in the past, integrated elements of Country into his music. But this was the tedious my wife left me, took the dog and the kids and my truck broke down kind of Country. I hope he snaps out of it soon!
How about Now a great effort - A great album throughout.I must admit the first time I played track one I was uninspired. The cd has a little country-rock which caught my interest. Those looking for Whenever I call you friend type songs will be sorely disappointed.I noticed some of the reviews were a little harsh but Ya can t please everyone but I am on this latest effort.
Kenny Loggins is back! - I love this record! Kenny is a great singer-songwriter plain and simple. His records have never left me disappointed. My favorite songs are How About Now, This Too Will Pass and A Years Worth of Distance. Thank you Kenny for your amazing music!
Reflection of life - I love this album. I love his honesty about his feelings over the break-up. His conflicting feelings over it - pain, anger, frustration, continuing love for her - are all evident in his choice of tracks. I recently bought the album for a friend of mine who s going through a divorce.
